I have Eleventh Gorgeous to thank for my latest obsession with this product. Like almost everyone else, I have been obsessed with the 'Kylie Jenner lip.' Kylie has totally brought back that hot 90s lip color, a mauvey brown shade that seems to look great on many skin tones! Kylie is said to wear Soar or Whirl Lip liner, and there's all sorts of speculation to the lipsticks that she wears. I don't have a MAC store near me, so luckily I came across Eleventh Gorgeous' video about drugstore dupes for the Kylie lip, and one mentioned was this Rimmel lip color.

What's in my Bag?
What's in my Bag videos are some of my favourites to watch on YouTube. Even though I don't make videos I thought it might be fun to give you a little glimpse of what is in my bag. I am pretty boring in that I use the same bag everyday for months and months on end. I have been using my Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac bag since well before the Summer. I have the black leather bag with silver hardware and I love it! At first I was worried it was too small but I've learned to downsize and now I love carrying a small purse! Keep reading to see what I carry with me in my bag.

My Everyday MAC Palette
I used to have quite the addiction to eyeshadow. I had to have every new palette that came out, and had a drawer full of palettes and shadows that I never even used. These days I am much more minimalistic when it comes to my everyday makeup routine. One of the things that has changed is that I bought a 4 pan MAC palette to put my most used shadows in. I have one of the larger palettes but found that i didn't pull it out very much before. Now with the smaller palette its much more convenient and I use it almost every day!

My Favourite Beauty Bloggers/YouTubers
A lot of the inspiration to start up this blog came from watching YouTube videos and reading blog posts from other bloggers and YouTubers. While I'm not yet brave enough to post videos, I am super glad I decided to start my blog! I have learned pretty much everything I know about makeup and beauty from these blogs and videos, and their recommendations on many products have led me to find many holy grail items. While i do watch and read a lot of different people, these are my favourites that I always need to keep up to date with. It's nice because I not only learn about beauty, but they also post lifestyle, DIY, and other posts that I love as well! I hope that if you haven't checked these ladies out that you will click on their info. I'll bet you love them as much as I do!

Lush Ocean Salt Scrub Review
I know I have an overload of Lush product reviews, but what can I say, I really love their products! About a month ago I stopped into my nearest store (which is over an hour away!) and the lovely girl who was working gave me an amazing hand treatment. She used the Ocean Salt scrub, which i had never used before, and I immediately fell in love.
My Favourite Perfumes
I love reading blog posts and watching YouTube videos about people's favourite perfumes. I love sampling different perfumes and finding my favourite scents. I am going to give you my top perfumes and maybe next time you are in the store you will give them a sniff to see if you like them as well!

Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner
I am a big fan of a cat eye. Everyday that I actually wear makeup, I will do a light matte eyeshadow with cat eye liner. I usually use a liquid liner, and I have tried more than a fair share of them over the years. I always seem to go back to the same one I used in high school, a simple Cover Girl liquid liner. So when I saw Benefit had a gel liner pen on the market I figured I needed to try it. It has been popping up on social media over the past few months and I finally picked it up about a month ago!

Frank Body Scrub Review
I recently purchased the very popular Frank body scrub. I was really excited to try this product as it is very hyped about on social media. However, once i received the product, it terrified me and I put it on a corner of my desk and left it there for weeks. The reasoning behind this was that it smells incredibly strong of coffee. I know, I know, what do you expect of a coffee scrub? But i wasnt expecting it to be SO aromatic. Secondly, as soon as I opened the package I could immediately see the mess that this stuff was going to make in the shower.

Songs of the Minute - October
I thought it might be fun to have a recurring post with my current favorite songs. I am a country girl through and through, so don't be surprised if my playlists are full of country music! This month I have been listening to a lot of songs on replay, but these five are the ones that I have loved the most. I hope that you like them too! Let me know in the comments what your favorite songs are this month!

Festive Lush Haul
Lush recently posted their Halloween and Christmas collections on their website, and I just had to stock up on some bath products. I am going to do separate posts for the bath products, with photos of them as well as what they look like in the bath, so stay tuned for those posts. However, I thought i would share what I picked up. As soon as I popped the box open, the whole room smelled amazing!

October Ipsy Glam Bag
Today I received my first Ipsy Glam Bag in the mail. Ipsy is a monthly subscription service that sends a personalized bag of beauty products and samples right to your door each month. The cost is $10/month, and there is a $4.95 shipping fee to deliver to Canada.
One you register with the website, you complete a quiz that helps determine which products you will receive in your monthly bag. I think this is a neat feature so that you are more likely to get products that you will actually use.
I was on a wait list for an ipsy subscription for about 3 weeks before I finally was able to get a bag. I understand there is high demand for this subscription service, but i wish I didnt have to wait and miss the September bag!
Without further ado, here are the products that I received this month!

Pumpkin Monster Cookies
Autumn. Cozy Sweaters. Warm Drinks. Falling Leaves...and Pumpkin Spice?
I have taken my stab at the ever popular pumpkin cookie that has come to be a fall staple. Anything pumpkin spiced seems to be a hit at this time of year, and a cookie is no exception! I looked at many different cookie recipes on Pinterest and throughout the web, and mixed and matched to make my own version. This cookie is very customizable - I used chocolate chips and walnuts, but you could add pretty much anything. I think next time I will add some raisins or craisins, and maybe some sunflower seeds. Without further ado, here is the recipe!
